The pages of Burnout are filled with stories intended to help us remember the insights we come across. In one of these parables, we are given an entertaining example of a squirrel in search of a nut. Then immediately introduced to a more nuanced version of S.M.A.R.T goals that encourages throwing in the towel when necessary to preserve our sanity. It’s too good! If you’ve ever felt the need to be validated in an “F this moment” search no further. The Nagoski sisters give us full license to do so, and they provide a worksheet.
Burnout empowers women to finally to stress less and reconsider their lifestyle choices. Overflowing with scientifically backed gems, you'll be left with tons of conversation starters worth their salt.
I read this book in no time. It was a savior when I didn't even know I was in desperate need of one. I personally benefited from they're clear explanation of what Burnout actually is. A three fold definition, it is the most comprehensive explanation I've ever come across for the term.
I was comforted knowing many of my quirks break the cycle and the goal of making that a recurring theme in my life is possible.
